Dylan McShane, "Gothic Knight"

Dylan McShane was born on June 20th, 1986 to Ian and Shannon McShane in New York City. Ian was a successful businessman, owning his own business that specialized in real estate and stock brokering. Shannon McShane was a successful singer, performing often at Carnegie Hall and several national tours. Dylan had a wonderful relationship with his parents and was especially close to his father. Dylan's parents took an active interest in their son's childhood and education. Dylan's closest friend as a child was their butler's son, Justin. The two continued their friendship throughout their young lives, and when Justin's father passed away Justin continued to live at the McShane apartments.

Dylan graduated with an MBA from Columbia University, and began to work in the real estate division of his father's company. However, fate had other plans for Dylan. His mother was murdered outside Carnegie Hall by a mugger. Devastated by the loss of his wife, Ian began to slowly lose his vigor.

Ian McShane passed away and Dylan took over his father's business. Dylan has done well with the company and the stock is now one of the more sought-after investments in the market. Justin has stayed loyal to his friend and is now Dylan's butler.

Dylan has a secret. After his mother's death and the subsequent arrest of her killer, Joey Abreile, Dylan became obsessed with the man and the underworld of New York. During a night of amateur dective work, Dylan fell from a rooftop and erupted before he hit the ground. Realizing just what he had become, Dylan raced home to practice his new powers and vowed to put them to good use.
